This map visualizes data counts indicative of monthly library usage across the Chicago Public Library system during 2017.
Visitor counts, circulation figures*, number of holds placed in person, total number of holds filled**, and individual computer sessions are offered as indicators of library branch patronage for the downtown Harold Washington Library Center, two regional libraries, and over 70 neighborhood branches.

** Note that the Chicago Public Library shifted their methods for tracking 'Holds Filled' during April 2017, and most branches show a corresponding dip in their figures for this month.
